I think it’s a smart move to put it to the side given how long it’s taken to date.
It may well have been ASTA who were holding up the deal, and not just because they wanted more money etc. There’s lots of things that TNT would need to be very clear on/careful with in regards to finance and disclosure in purchasing ASTA. If ASTA weren’t forthcoming with all those requirements, it’s better to put it aside for the time being.
