The town who they are asking to mine near has asked for an extension and town meetings to make sure everything is kosher before they grant permission to go ahead.
I see this as the biggest barrier to any money being made, every person in town will have an opinion one way or the other and I would say there are some moneyed up retirees who love their little hamlet the way it is.
They are talking about water contamination but I’m sure it will go into more depth and could drag out for a while....
