If I was running a project that required watertight confidentiality and a shareholder approached me suggesting negative information - I would want to know the source too, even if the information was rolled gold BS.
IMEC has been founded on principles of tight confidentiality - it's the only way you can have a joint development facility between competitors.
4DS is a speck on a speck in the context of the work that IMEC does for some massive heavy hitters - integrity is everything! Would IMEC put that integrity and trust in jeopardy over 4DS?
