My understanding of UGC is that long adjacent burns are done leaving supporting walls inbetween to prevent subsidence and that nothing else is necessary such as pumping water down. I would assume the same would apply to UCL. Ie. areas would be left intact to provide supporting walls.
I think I read somewhere that it may be possible to remove additional CSM from the remaining coal once UGC is complete. Same may apply to UCL???
