Strong Early Gas Flows for Warro Warrior
The gas is flowing at Warro.
For people watching the WA gas market, that’s a fairly big deal.
While it’s early days, it’s looking like Transerv Energy (ASX:TSV) may have finally cracked the Warro code.
TSV has an initial flow rate on the Warro-6 well of 1.3 million cubic feet per day (MMcfd), and the well has yet to stabilise.
It is thought that a long term flow rate of in excess of 1 MMcfd could be sufficient encouragement to take the next steps in field development – and initial flow rates seem to demonstrate this.
Of equal importance is the amount of accompanying water. TSV hasn’t said how much water is coming out with the gas yet, as the well is still cleaning up and stabilising, however news of this will be a crucial factor in the company’s next move.
As explained above a flow rate of above 1 is good. So far 6 is good but 5??. Early days but enough encouragement for shareholders.
