Spodumene has a theoretical maximum Li2O content of 8 wt%, zinnwaldite 4%. So the con will be around 3% Li2O. This is why there’s no market for zinn concentrate. Benefits come in downstream processing - much lower roasting temp required to liberate Li from zinn.
With EMH you need to take a holistic approach to evaluation. It’s all about cost of Li salt production, not concentrate grade.
