Seems strange to me, if I'm understanding it they crush and then compress desert sand into lumps that can form part of the aggregate. To me this doesn't replace sand use as it wouldn't be fine enough. I don't know what impact this would have on strength, ease of use and durability of the concrete. The website seemed a bit dodgy too. Anyway they will likely be years from acceptance and be required to pass numerous tests in each country they wish to sell in.
