I am also heavily overweight TFC in my superfund. Except my average price is around $1.70. I am reassured that my average is less than the $1.734 that the CEO paid for his last $1.5m worth of shares.

TFC is trying to buy the pre 2008 MIS growers at the current book values. I suspect it has not actively promoted its prospects as it wants to maximise the purchase of these grower interests.

I note there has been no announcement about the release of the ‘offer to purchase’ documents for the pre-2008 MIS. Also Andrix has not advised Hotcopper that he/she has received the offer documents.

In the documents for the capital raising TFC stated it was going to offer to buy these interests in April.

So what has happened? Maybe TFC were required to get an independent valuation and that party is refusing to value at the $US2,800 per kg oil equivalent.
