The Sentinel resolution is low so there's a lot of guess work. Sometimes the best that you can tell from Sentinel is that drilling work has happened there. That in itself will be interesting for Phase 3 TG6 drilling and is potentially an indicator of turnaround times for phase 2. For example we know that some drilling was still happening between 26Nov and 1Dec. I'm therefore not expecting TG6 to release a full set of 13 drill holes in the next week or even two weeks.

If TG6 do get a set of results by Friday and work on the ASX release of that for say 4th Dec or 11th Dec its only going to cover some holes. That's not TG6 following the all to frequent practice of slow release of NSI's. Its simply not having results back.

Delta's Yinnetharra project is an example where Google maps have put up a revised image that is sufficiently timely that you can see what's happening and then align it back to the relevant Sentinel map. The following two images are from Yinnetharra just to show what you can and can't see from Sentinel. You get the visual (just) of DD rig drill pads. Sometimes the Sentinel image is the stack of green bags that the RC crew use. While the last TG6 Google map is from 2023, its early 2023 so its showing the tracks they drove along in getting the soil samples.


Sometimes Google is slow to update its maps &/or has update lines in interesting places. Core's Grants mine is an example of where Google has had an inconsistent update. Grants open pit is under construction on the left but the right hand side of the image is years ago before any construction commenced.
