One possibility is that the RC drilling has hit a lower pegmatite (or pegmatites). Because its RC drilling they will have rock chips and may have assay's back on this. They won't however have confirmation of the angles of the pegmatite. Say for instance there's a 20m deeper hit - is it 20m true width or some shorter true width as they hit the pegmatite at the wrong angle. While you may not have DD drilling assay results back in two weeks, you would have the pegmatite intersection angles as soon as you have completed the drilling.

The diamond drilling program may be needed to confirm the pegmatite orientations and provide an informed cross section.
