In the "new normal" in 2022 and beyond, if a Eugeni machine is going to be testing you prior to entry at such places as concerts, airports, sports stadiums etc and has the capability of completely ruining your day/week/life because you test positive and are ordered back home/into isolation - then the TGA has to be 100% diligent before releasing the machine into the market. The Eugeni machine has to be close to 100% accurate too, with the capability of changing test cartridges quickly in order to pick up new, emerging variants. I'm not disappointed with this announcement, I'm glad the TGA are doing their job properly.
I don't even want to imagine the future shareprice scenario if the machine was given approval (without due diligence) and later turned out to be a dud, along with the awful news headlines and social media coverage of disgruntled patrons (being falsely denied entry).
Not selling my shares any time soon, wish I had the funds to buy more actually.
