I think a bit of perspective is important. I agree with all of the above and believe that pharmacist lobby groups are resisting the tech revolution readers will bring so to protect jobs and I am positive TGA have a lot to answer for. BUT Australia is such a small market. Like tiny compared to what is needed globally. I think ADO and the EuGeni reader has global superstar potential. Airports, workplaces, hospitals, testing stations, cruise ships .. the list is endless. The demand is enormous and far far outstrips current supply. For me TGA is nothing more than a local endorsement. Sure it might help international sales but when systems are under the pump in US and Europe or SE Asia I am sure their relative regulators will be able to see past the TGAs lethargic response and incompetence.
