The active sabotage of RAT testing is squarely on the government. The boss of the TGA has already stated in September that “We’re saying to companies, submit your data, show us, but we can’t formally make an approval decision until we get a signal from the government,”

They can later blame spread on the inaccuracy of RATs since they're approving rubbish, in an "I told you so" manner, ignoring the fact that the approval process is a joke and post-market monitoring of performance is non-existent asides from relying on more paperwork from the supplier.

A total fiasco.

The local sabotage indirectly resulted in issues gaining approval elsewhere. Once we finally do get TGA approval, other regions will be unlocked.
