    You would indeed, and you would expect that AnteoTech's consultant (they are using one, surely) would have made a point of this as well. Still, I wonder how many of the cheap Chinese tests had this covered in their submissions? I suspect not many, as there has been mention from the TGA that it will be wanting this matter addressed for tests that have already made it onto the register. It could all be an anomaly that tests have been waved through on the basis of emergency conditions/prioritizing timely availability of tests - any tests, regardless of quality (within reason) have been green lighted in line with their efficacy claims. I do think that tests that don't aspire to high efficacy may have been given an easier run as they don't over promise and therefore do not mislead customers (at least those who read the fine print). I think our timing has been very unfortunate coming as it does at a time when there are finally many dozens of tests available and the TGA must now be looking to tidy up and get the register back in some sort of order.
