Pippen0, given the quality of the tests that have been approved by the TGA (one of which was removed as it had a risk of killing the user) I am not surprised.
Some of the tests have had their emergency use withdrawn in the US and others were taken out of circulation in Europe.
I am somewhat perplexed that there is not more co-operation between the different authorities so if one withdraws it, it gets looked at a bit closer by the others.
The home tests look to be the worst and what a lot of folks are not considering is that they can not be used to gain access to events that require testing, given you don't know who actually took the test and how long ago the test was taken. The only purpose they serve is to try to protect family during gatherings to at least have some hope to not have someone that is carrying significant viral loads. Even in that scenario, they appear to be quite poor so I hope that in that space we get something more robust.
