I hope you are right G007. Below is an interesting tube explaining the new omnicron strain of COVID19. Seems that early well respected studies out of Hong Kong saying that is 7 times more contagious than delta however replicates 70 times faster in the air ways to the lungs but replicates 10 times less in the lungs. Therefore the chance of hospitals being overloaded is concern. This explains why the last ADO announcement highlights the TGA wanting more details around the ability of the test to detect variants. I am sure that a quick validation trial could show that our RAT can detect omnicron and this would hopefully enable the finalisation of the TGA approval. Case numbers in Europe and England are increasing along with hospitalisation. Lets hope ADO can become the 3rd choice of RATS in England!
