A Sydney-based rapid antigen test outfit says it can supply 240 million of the samekits used in the UK if the commonwealth guarantees a purchase and the medicineregulator provides it with emergency approval.Rapid Test & Track said it had secured the offer to supply the kits from the Chinesemanufacturer starting in January.The tests, supplied by Chinese meditech Biotime, are used by Brazil and the UK,where they are supplied free to residents.However, Rapid Test & Track is still awaiting approval of the nasal test kits by theTherapeutic Goods Administration."
Wouldn't it be funny (not) if TGA were to grant requested emergency approval. I'm going to be watching with interest
