could you please point out where this has been stated.

my understanding from announcements and webinars is that

the initial successful UK trial phase 1/2 of the DHSC approval have been completed and Derek has told us that we are in the final stage3 of approval which requires 5000 samples tested, which was to be completed in the NY.

at no stage has the UK regulator said what you claim, so I can assume it is made up unless you can provide proof...
