Time will also tell whether COVID is yesterday's news. I'm sure many thought it was over when Delta came and went. until the whole world is at least doubled vaxed watch this space in a few months time for new variants. A common misconception is Omicron is milder than Delta so therefore the next variant will be even less of an issue, but most people don't realize Omicron is not descended from Delta.
Time will also tell whether COVID is yesterday's news....
