While I agree this is the way most companies work, having spoken to the board and CEO at length I think they are serious about wanting to show the company is working before raising. Even if they weren't they would really struggle to raise now without some runs on the board. Both of these things make think me a raise in the next couple of months is off the table unless something amazing happens.
I cut RAN a bit more slack than I would most companies because I want them to succeed. The new management are fully committed to making RAN a success - I could sense from talking to Stephen that RAN has been a total nightmare because of the mess it has been left in, but the goal they are aiming for is what keeps him working hard. Rarely as investors you get to make much of a difference, but if RAN succeeds it will make a real and positive difference to the world.
