Just what did this shallow V compartment in 2C give up?
It was 10 metres thick and had "good oil shows".
What about the same compartment in 2B?
Idont know-they havent commented in todays announcement.
What about the deeper V compartments?
In 2c they got 400 bopd at the start but its tapered off quite a bit. This comparable deeper compartment in 2B is matching 2C and sounds better to me ( "strong oil and gas readings"). They have kept the drill bit further away from the oil/water contact in 2B than in 2C (to reduce the risk of watering out -remember that 2C had a water cut of 65% and thats a bit too much water for comfort.
So did 2C turned out to be a good template for 2B? And will it be a good template for "2" more similar wells nearby?
Of course I dont know the answer.Inasmuch as one swallow a summer does not make then what about 2 swallows (2C and 2B).Until we have all the results in on 2C and 2B its hard to get a really good bead on how the plan is going. But its looking rather good,IMO.
Another patience pill,perhaps.
