Exxon did not become the biggest oil company in the world by being financially incompetent . It looks a very good deal but only time will tell just how good it will be in the long run . Lets hope that Exxon with it mega projects around the world in progress decided to sell what is only a small project for them for reasons other than its profitability or provenance. Good to see the business looking to build revenue for a future after the Chinese assets come to an end . Seem to be looking more to Gas assets that are more aligned with the low carbon world being pushed by most countries governments . Personally I think Oil will be harder to replace than many futurists think . Hope the Chinese Assets get a lease time extension even if the deal has to change some what . They are clearly trying to get the oil there out as quickly and efficiently as they can .
