Damocles, The sword of Damocles:
A servent once commented on how lucky Damocles was to be a King with all he desired was only an asking. Damocles heard the comments the servant make and offered the servant his thrown for as long as he could sit on the throne chair. The servant was elated to be offered this chance to be King as long as he sat on the throne.
Of course, there was a catch Damocles hung his sword above his throne chair with the strand of horsehair. The servant would rule always looking up not knowing if and when that sword came down to kill him.
He then told the servant, this is what it's like to be King! The constant fear that you will be killed and replaced!
