Interesting move. You would expect benefits would be gained on owning the one of the largest prescribers of medicinal cannabis in Australia. Announcement reads as this allows for ranging of previously un-ranged THC products?
However, would be interesting to hear the opinions of someone within the medical / legal industry as this is essentially a drug company owning a clinic. How would conflict of interest be managed effectively?
Through the acquisition of Tetra, THC Global is advancing the industry across the chain, enabling the Company
to increase accessibility and reduce costs of medicinal cannabis medicines to Australian patients, by cutting out
intermediary markups and handling costs.
So by vertically integrating they will be able to cut costs on their product prescribed ex clinic - will this price out competitors ex Tetra?
