You may very well be found to be correct. Neither party can be over-estimated.
The USA has far stronger conservative power brokers IMO and things are moving there so who knows. It reads to me that the individual states in the USA broke down the federal conservative barriers to get it moving - maybe the same will happen here? The ACT ironically pushed a boundary recently?
