SA is honestly a shocking location for a mining business with a myriad of serious problems companies have to deal with. Look at the declining national gold production figures which have been trending down for decades. I'm guessing Theta were looking to establish a Tier-1 destination foothold and make themselves a bit more palatable to investors.
