Loading by barge was mentioned by Dave numerous times as it doesn't need wharf facilities......plus utilising empty ships on their return journey.
Whether any other mining entity has used barges....I have no idea.
If you've ever watched "Arctic Haulers"......then you can see how barges are used to offload mainly containers...vehicles....machinery etc.
I just don't see how its possible to shift 160kt ore in this way....
would have to be bagged....just too tedious and take too long.
These are the details the company needs to explain.
