I'm trying to look at it through fresh eyes though cap and both the highlight holes for this announcement were basically drilled on the same angle and parallel (not exactly but close enough) to pre existing holes and historical assays when you look further at the diagrams. So you should have a fair idea you are going to crack some mineralization. It also looks like the angle is hitting the deposit length ways ( director special style) rather than an intersection across the lode. So unfortunately for me takes a little of the shine off it.

I'm certainly no GEO so take anything I say with a pinch of salt though. I'm more talking out loud and making sure I'm not missing anything as those numbers in isolation are definitely worthy. I'm also not saying that win are just trying to juice the early numbers or doing anything dodgy either, I just wouldn't be surprised if these were some of the best holes we see for a while.

This might easily be justified by trying to see if there is continuity between the two holes or even to determine if the old assays etc can be trusted as from memory they are likely to be drilled some 30+ years ago in the 1990's when the mine was in operation or in the years before that while defining the resource. I'm sure the company has a good reason for drilling the targets the way they did. I'd be really interested as to the idea behind it for my own curiosity. Also interested in the plan if they can model a resource and tell us how they are thinking of getting to it as its mostly starting 250m down. Portal for the open pit as someone already suggested a while ago? Either way early days yet.

Hopefully It's the first of many good holes and all the forecasts I see are for higher gold prices at the end of 2025 than we are at now which should only help our cause.
