I object to your comment that implies the RBA is a puppet if Government, there is no evidence that any Treasurer can appoint “his proxy” to the RBA.
I find your comments and attitude both ignorant and offensive, the mechanism for appointments is robust and transparent, the people that serve do so with the highest integrity, and have to ignore comments like yours.
I think the board knows the pain of ordinary Australians and take no pleasure in raising rates.
