Kates, You should add to that of "CONTINUOUS" Massive Sulphide. You can get spot readings on disseminated and blebby core as XRF readings are surface spot readings. Blebs and specks can be present within the core where you can not know what mass or distribution they have over a distance. You therefore cannot assume an average reading over a distance. Lab assay results are much more reliable and are really the only acceptable results according to the JORC calculations code.
