True. There is the timing risk.
I guess when you are invested in options that expire so soon you are considering risk in the first place.
You can also call it opportunity cost when you are selling your options trading at a discount as opposed in executing them.
Personally I believe that investors throwing out money when selling their options.
The advantage of executing options to change to shares removes the time pressure. People have invested in MLS and options because they want exposure to the company's potential.
If people just invested in the options to make a quick bug without understanding what options are I guess they made a mistake in the first place.
I previously executed options of a company and repurchased options to execute them again and made around $10,000.
I regret that I haven't done it with MLSOB. Could have made at least that amount of money again.
I have invested most in MLSOD. So I don't have the issue of imminent execution.
