Actually wonder a bit about the reporting from ADV.
The report:
- 24.00 continuous metres at 0.82% Li2O from 2m down hole (SA-17-15)
But this actually includes great stuff like:
▪ 2.00m at 2.42% Li2O;
▪ 4.00m at 1.90% Li2O; and
▪ 5.00m at 1.48% Li2O;
The overal 0.82% is poor but the individual 2m, 4m, and 5m are really great!
I have not to much clue about mining and how bad it is to have these layers of good and bad stuff. It will give rise to a poor stripping ratio. But if it is easy to separate the good from the bad but it could still be very cost effective. I mean having a 2m slab of lithim at 2m depth with 2.42% Li2O is really not a bad thing to have.... E.g. when it is a 300m by 300m slab it a pretty nice thingy to have.
And with all the lithium there is in Seymore one gets the feeling that there may be some "motherload" somewhere in the area. Would be strange to have all these thin slabs of lithium which extend over larger areas and to not have a feeder/mother zone for it.
Anyway, for me it is enough to know that ADV at Seymore has found high grade lithium, near surface. Even if at the moment the quantum is not sufficient I have little to know doubt that that is only a matter of time.
