Listening to the pollies the disaster just as bad or worse than 2011. Two main bridges gone and many klm of road so no through traffic. All supplies and dongas and workers need to be brought in. Maybe easier to shift towns people and make Fiztroy the workers camp???
Govt is starting logistics planning now and completing damage assessment.
Wonder if they left the landrovers and augers on site at YT?
As i see it once derby and gibb river road open then DRE YT plans and timing may not be impacted. Would be nice to get a situation assessment from DRE to reduce the exposure. I noted another holding PAN sent out note on 9 jan to alleviate any market concerns.
