Reading the description for SR24-03 and SR24-04 reminds me of the Kupferschiefer deposit.
The relatively monotonous succession is typically 30 to 60 centimetres (12 to 24 in) and maximum 2 metres (6.6 ft) thick, but extends over an area of 600,000 square kilometres (230,000 sq mi) across the Southern Permian Basin.
To accurately understand what is being targeted here one needs to not compare it to porphyry drill results but rather take a look at comparable sedimentary copper deposits and it will make more sense. Perhaps someone with more of a geological background can add greater context to the similarities, but the flat lying nature described in today's announcement really made me think of a slice of copper that extends over massive ground, like Kupferschiefer.
