Absolutely agree with the comment about not finding something if you are not drilling. But the thing is that you cannot drill everywhere, you need to generate targets either by geophysics, geological reasoning and/or geochemistry and detailed mapping to rank and sort which targets to drill. No-one can afford to spray drill holes everywhere, the lack of continiutty in the small high grade massive sulphides so far suggests "poddiness", as discussed previously a larger disseminated style of mineralisation is a larger physical target but still preferable to do IP to maximise your chances with the drill rig.

The later part of your posts suggest that SQM want to test further which is completely normal for a SQM in a JV - they want to test ground and either find something worthwhile or good enough to continue work or spend their time and resources elsewhere.
