Hi there tfe man, like you, I have been perplexed by this cycle of trading. There were > 61 million shares traded over 9 days and the trading pattern did not appear to have a large churn.
The buyers stepped up and took whatever they could get and my guess is that the volumes are not likely to be predominantly Retail investors.

Since the peak, the price has dwindled slowly on relatively lowish volume. I can understand that buyers got their fill and the demand eased with a price retrace.

My take is that there may have been an expectation of more positive drill results which may still be on the cards. The interesting aspect is that a buyer or buyers went for a position that provides them with a get set platform.

Interesting days ahead imo.
