Much talk of takeovers, long term value, JORC etc even charting theories...this stock is not even close.
The obvious acquirer would be WSA who already have an interest in the project. To buy SGQ they would have to pay $100m. Does anyone think, based on what's been discovered so far, this will happen? WSA would have to be insane.
Make no mistake, SGQ is an early stage explorer. The share price will live or die based on the drill bit. Nothing that's been found to date is close to being commercial so a thick intersection of massive sulphide (40-50m @ 5%?) needs to be found so they can raise again at a higher price or JV to develop the project.
Having said that, I love the story, I'm long and reckon it's a great punt.
I agree with others there is source rock down there...somewhere. How did these little slivers of high grade material get to where SGQ found them? Is the deposit just this, a bunch of tiny blobs? Surely there's a big deposit feeding this. I'm betting on it.
