Kata Thong providesPAM the potential to produce geothermal lithium using geothermal energy with a Zero Carbon Footprint.The nearby 240MW Rajjaprabha Hydro-electric Power Station provides PAM the
potential to produce lithium products with a near zero carbon footprint. Kata Thong project is potentially transformative for the Company.
The
Kata Thong applications are now at the Federal level and will be prepared for final approvals by the Department of Primary Industry and Mines and then the Minerals Act Committee. Upon receipt of exploration licenses in Thailand no further permissions are required other than landholder access.
PAM is focusing on lepidolite as a source of lithium as peer group studies indicate that lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide projects using
lepidolite as their plant feedstock have the potential to be placed at the bottom of the cost curve.
