And let's not even think about the practical aspects of 8 hour (at best) recharge turnarounds, or the dilemma of the occasional thermal runaway un-extinguishable incineration.

Sure, people are on the kool-aide, but the dream won't necessarily translate. A bit like autonomous driving, when was that due again? It's been 'next year' for at least a decade and a half.
