Fast-tracking lithium development strategy
Ardiden Limited’s (ASX:ADV) shares closed circa 38% higher on Wednesday following high-grade hits at the North Aubry lithium deposit, within the Seymore Lake lithium project in Ontario, Canada.
The assays from 11 diamond drill holes returned significant results including an impressive high-grade intercept grading 4.38% lithium.
The highlight results include:
- 25.26 metres at 1.26% lithium from 110.60 metres;
- 25.05 metres at 1.13% lithium from 121.87 metres; and
- 18.29 metres at 1.38% lithium from 98.0 metres.
These results continue to demonstrate extensions and continuity of the thick high-grade lithium mineralisation expanding northeast from the North Aubry deposit.
Significantly, the mineralisation remains open in all directions from North Aubry and further drilling will allow Ardiden to determine the grade and continuity of the mineralisation.
Circa 40 new pegmatite exposures have been identified, with several of these exposures hosting visible spodumene.
Only about 5% of the regional 5 kilometres strike length of modelled pegmatites have been drill-tested so far, and the true potential of the project is yet to be fully evaluated.
The latest results support Ardiden’s objective of exercising the term sheet with Chinese partner Yantai and progressing its fast-track development strategy at Seymour Lake.
