Hi spider … I had shares here for a while recently on the same basis - that MACA was a target - but sold my shares on an opportunity cost/I’m bored basis …. Would have been better sitting tight.
And I don’t know about Elliot but I do know that CIMIC has been previously shown (multiple times) of having an agenda of driving other sector companies out of business.
MACA has a fleet of mostly old equipment I think and has lots of small contracts including offshore.
And it is currently the incumbent miner at Pilbara Minerals where the contract expires in the next few months - a contract I believe several other comanies were aiming at taking.
It will be interestimg to see who gets it now …
