This was a no-brainer and very predictable IMO - the market is very silly, to say the least, to have had it priced so undervalued. Previous media on Thiess interest in Macca so it was only a matter of time. Nice to see the likely dividend payment in September - 2.5 cent per share still coming. Hoping for a higher bid from another party but agree it's probably unlikely, however, can't rule out an international player coming in to play who wants to get into the OZ landscape.
