    If they know something that will drastically increase the share price, wouldn't it have been smarter for them to have already demanded the conversion of the entire note? If the price goes up the conversion price (90% of 5 day VWAP upon conversion notice) would be higher and they would get fewer shares.

    Mercer could be planning to buy more shares with the cash but my guess is that they have other plans for the money. With the markets being down they probably see a lot of potential investment opportunities.
