    No- to your comment, transferring 'off market' is not reportable to the ASX. Also transferring from one to another party also does not attract any fees.

    XT Cross Trades have to meet certain rules and are usually triggered -as one poster reported- when 2 separate clients Buyer/Seller of the same Broker want to trade. Also The Buyer and Seller are oblivious to one another - in most cases.

    If they knew each other and wanted to Buy/Sell same stock then an 'Off Market Transfer' would suffice. They could be clients of the same Broker or not.

    Maybe worth a look at an 'Off Market Transfer Form' - look into your online Registry.
