Gerrick, Join the club of Mongolia punters. As Aussies, we are pretty dumb about M. However, a bit of scratching around shows that M is a "Partner" of NATO, shares small friendly interests with Australia & seems to get on with its huge populous neighbours & anybody else who can stand M's climate & lifestyle. The coal, oil, & gas deals are beyond me, but I suspect that CSG Aussies have been poking around there for a few years, & have a loose gang of mates. Perhaps, together, they have shown the locals the way to service their biggest, richest, neighbour with gas energy, perhaps backing up Russian pipeline supply, which crosses their country, anyway. I'm mesmerised by it all & feel some blokes are surprising themselves about how well their plan is coming together. I wish I had more to invest in this incredible "joining together". Inflection points are "just riding along". Japes.
