Unequivocally.
It remains to be seen how rapid the germination process is or how healthy the plants are in comparison, but as far as being a replacement for Perlite in regards to shipping, its carbon footprint, soilless medium etc etc, Jelligrow is superior.
The growth in vertical farming looks almost shockingly fictional, but is the reality moving forward.
Like everything, these things always take longer than people expect. 7 to 10 years is the average overnight success story for a company, sometimes even longer.
