It's hard to keep the professional downrampers happy isn't it!!

The scale up of the Nullabor 20 production is pretty significant.
Half a tonne is a big jump, doubling what has been done before.
And it was at the request of a partner, which is interesting in itself.
Here is the progress in terms of production size across the three spins to date.

    First Pilot Production:
    - 260kg batch of Nullarbor-20™

    Second Pilot Production produced:
    - 150kg of Nullarbor-30™
    - 90kg of Nullarbor-20™

    Third Pilot Production:
    - 500kg of Nullarbor-20™
    - 110kg of Nufolium-20™

I think the disappointing aspect is the slow progress.
The Second Pilot Production on the 3rd April announced that the Third Pilot Spin was going to happen that quarter and it didn't get done until December, which is just too slow. I'm sure there are many reasons for that, but need to see some progress on this and would be good to understand what the hold ups are.

In other news - Jelligrow gets a mention in the AFR courtesy of a profile on Greenspace - I won't post the full article, but link below and interesting to read that Greenspace looks to be self funding next year, but currently in Europe raising $10m to expand internationally. Clearly there is no value being attributed to Jelli Grow in the company's valuation and that is likely a big mistake as it could be the early commercialisation winner that funds the rest of the business.

“They are lightweight and modular and can be built or packed down and moved on in a matter of a few days,” he says. Gone are the great bags of perlite, a bulky growing medium. Instead, Imabayashi has replaced it with a cutting edge microgel called Jelli Grow, which is produced by Nanollose. A 1 kilogram bag, when rehydrated, can replace a palette of perlite.

“The environmental considerations of what we are doing are quite amazing,” says Fox. “Our packaging and our set-up is recyclable, compostable or re-useable. We use a fraction of the water used to grow conventional crops and the end user is in walking distance. Zero food miles,” he says.

The vertical farm industry is worth about $US5 billion ($7.5 billion) annually with a predicted fourfold growth to $US39.9 billion by 2032, says global research company Precedence Research. Over the next 10 years Precedence estimates a compound annual growth rate for the sector to be just under 23 per cent.
