I went to the AGM of MZI a much smaller local mineral sands miner who have just recieved funding, contracts and decsion to mine. The very fact that threse were all arranged (albeit delayed) implies weakness in the TiO2 and Zircon market has been surmounted (in contrast to the case for GUN last year).

Given all the known infromation from and comments by Rick Sharp you would think MDL is horribly undervalued.

A point to note would be that the Chloride ilmenit emarket has greater price tension thna hte Sulphide Ilmnetie market. We know MDL will be able to produce either post the shutdown and minor upgrade originally scheduled for 2015.

My decison revolves around how much of MDL and MZi to hold currently at a rough ration of 2:1 with the larger more integrated one being favoured. This is so even though I have worked under the technical director of MZI.
