I was looking at a broker report from March this year. They estimate Energy costs(virtually all diesel) to be 30% of MDL's operating cost with the significant fall in the cost of fuel. This should be useful. Shipping and rail costs will also get some savings.
The Tyssendal plant uses predominantly hydro power so may not benefit as much however it is probably more insulated (pun unintended) from Russian gas travails.
