I strongly believe Woolworths is an excellent buy right now. I just bought some. Will buy more soon. The latest report shows Woolworths' sales are up by 2.8% compared to last year. This is more of a solid indicator that the company is doing well, even in these tough times and their online sales have jumped significantly, which is a real good news specially for future.
And it just shows they are adapting more towards the digital era. Additionally, they have managed to keep food prices stable, which means they are likely to keep attracting customers. Based on their results, the management seems committed with a clear focus on operational efficiency.
